Beeswax wraps

inspired by the sea, the sky and mountains nearby...

Art is the tree of life. Science is the tree of death. William Blake

The rise of the plastic free movement is impacting our lives, the things we buy and how and what we use.

I enjoy not only painting but all things creative, so I decided to make my art useful!

One of these little changes is the use of beeswax wraps. If you're unsure what it is-

Beeswax Wraps are a natural eco-friendly alternative to cling film.

Used to wrap food such as; cheese, bread, vegetables & lemons or cover leftovers in bowls or baking dishes. The warmth of your hand will soften the beeswax sealing it around the item.

To clean, simply wipe with a warm damp cloth. Do not submerge into hot water.

They are not recommended for meat or hot food.

To keep in optimum condition, it is recommended to re-heat and re-distribute the wax on the cloth after 6-12 months. Place on greaseproof paper on a baking tray in a very low oven for a few minutes.

The pack contains 3 pieces:

"Rock and roll is fun but if you ever hear someone

Say you are huge look at the moon, look at the stars, look at the sun

Look at the ocean and the desert and the mountains and the sky

Say I am just a speck of dust inside a giant's eye" Kimya Dawson song lyrics from 'I like Giants' album: "Remember That I Love You" (2006)
