a bit about me...

I have been fortunate to have spent the last decade travelling the world, calling beautiful  places such as New Zealand, BC Canada & Chamonix in the french Alps all home at some point. These stunning landscapes with their abundance of natural wildlife have been a constant source of inspiration for my art.  Now based on the rugged North Devon coastline, I have made a little nest to call home with my husband and dogs, just a little closer to family, but still able to hear the calls of the wild...

I love working with a variety of mediums, each one offers something completely different, just like music, there's something to suit each mood; oils for a slow paced and patient piece- acrylics, think big & think quick- watercolour & ink for loose, playful brushstrokes - gold leaf to add that extra dimension and touch of pizzaz!

I will never grow tired of endlessly staring at the shows put on by Mother Nature, they are forever imprinted in my mind. Through the magnificence of colour and mark making, I use my artwork as a tool to re-create these scenes of beauty by relying on my hands, eyes, memories and photos to get me there and create something for others to enjoy.

I am available for commissions, please send any thoughts or ideas you have using the contact page and I'd be happy to discuss things further with you.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site.
